In this video, we'll show you how to do keyword research and focus your efforts on those keywords that really count and can bring you more traffic and revenue in the future.
For your convenience, we've divided the keyword research process into seven steps. From creating a list of seed keywords to building a keyword map and monitoring the results.
Step #1. Create a list of seed keywords
This is where the process of generating keyword ideas starts. Seed keywords to help you kickstart the process of generating more keywords.
Step #2. Choose SEO tools to use
We’ll show you how to use Google Ads Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEO PowerSuite’s Rank Tracker + Reddit, and niche forums to generate thousands of keyword ideas.
Step #3. Generate your keyword list
In this part of the video, we’ll explore some of the keyword research methods in Rank Tracker (TF-IDF Explorer, Related Searches) in more detail.
Step #4. Filter your data
After you’re done with generating keyword ideas, it’s time to filter your list to exclude useless results. Here we’ll talk about the most useful metrics according to which you need to analyze your keywords and pick the ones with the highest potential. These metrics include keyword length, search volume, difficulty, expected traffic, cost per click.
Step #5. Prioritize your keywords
Now you’ll need to segment and prioritize your final selection of keywords so that they are a little easier to manage and implement in your SEO strategy. In this part of the video, we’ll talk about the universal criteria for SEO segmentation: semantic similarity, search intent, search volume, and competition.
