The village of Birji, in the state of Odemish, is located between the hills and surrounded by ancient plush trees and walnut trees.
The village has a long history, as many ancient peoples and civilizations passed by, such as the Persians, Romans and Byzantines, and it was the capital of the Emirate of "Aydinoglu", which was founded by Muhammad Bey in 1308 AD.
The village of Birgi belongs to the state of Odemish, which is 110 km from the city of Izmir, and the village is one of the most important historical areas remaining from previous eras dating back to two thousand years BC, it was inhabited by the Persians, Byzantines, Romans, the Principality of Aydenoglu and finally the Ottomans, and lives in this small village Nearly 3000 people.
