Mous Clarity 2.0 iPhone 14 Review - There's Only One Thing I don't Like...

Mous has finally added MagSafe
Mous has finally added MagSafe to their Clarity case. Is it any good? Hell yeah. This is one of the best clear cases on the market IF you can get over the black edges.
The biggest thing for me is the coating of the Clarity. It's grippy enough but doesn't feel tacky like other TPE cases are. Also, I only drop it 1/2 a dozen times in the video but the 5ft face first drops didn't even sound terrible in the case.

The Clarity 2.0 is basically a normal clarity with a MagSafe Array. It’s a clear backed case with a black edge. The edge of the case is low along the middle of the iPhone and high in the corners. This is great for screen access.
The black edge of the case has a glossy finish that extends to the polycarbonate back of the case which is one of the reasons why I like this case so much. More in that in a minute.
On the inside, the TPU edge is lined with AiroShock, Mous’s own version of TPE which is the secret sauce for drop protection. The bottom of the case also has two attachment points for wrist straps.
The back of the case houses a MagSafe Magnet Array. The back of the is thin enough that a Made for magSafe charger will provide 15W of charging. And despite my best attempts, stay attached to the case, something I can’t say for other clear cases.
The top and bottom of the case are thicc which seems to be a trend these days. It’s actually much thicker than the previous Clarities. The thicker top and bottom ensures that the back of the case doesn’t scratch when placed on a flat surface. The top and bottom are so wide that Mous has removed part of the camera protection ring as the case sits high and flat enough that you don’t need it for the bottom of the camera area.
I love the finish that Mous uses on the back of the case. It has a rubber coating that isn’t tacky like a typical TPU case BUT it has enough texture that it doesn’t feel like a bar of soup like you would find on other clear cases. This improves the handling of not only the case and iPhone BUT the MagSafe Accessories you’re going to use with your iPhone.
This may seem like a small detail but it makes a world of difference for things like grips, wallets, battery packs and car mounts.

For iPhone access, the standout feature are the low edges along the middle of the iPhone. When used with a glass screen protector, it’s almost like the case edge isn’t there. The average iPhone case doesn’t do this.
The buttons are still built into the case which is unlike the floating buttons found on the Limitless 5.0. There’s nothing wrong with them, they just feel a bit squishier. The cutouts on the Clarity are also larger than average ensuring easy access.
Overall, the handling of the Clarity 2.0 is top notch. The only thing I don’t like about it are the color choices. It’s either a black edge with a clear back or a black edge with a colorful back. One of the draws of clear cases is being able to show off the color of your iPhone. So it would be nice to have other color options.
When it comes to protection, corner drops aren’t going to be an issue. The clarity is going to show more damage than other cases as the finish on the case will scuff. For face first drops, the high corners are going to do a better job keeping the screen from hitting the ground.
