There is a real sneaky trick that I know. Using Steam, you download the MW3 Dedicated Server Tools. Using the correct version of Teknogods and Call of Duty game patches, you can play spec ops LAN, or you can play the latest copy of the game online for free. It's a sick method. Enjoy!
