In the 2012 elections, he was elected President of Russia for the third time with 63.6% of the vote. While some attribute his cold and expressionless demeanor to his past as a KGB agent, others consider him to be merely a façade. So, who is Vladimir Putin?
Imagine a person. A judo fighter with a black belt. He rides motorcycles with a biker gang, goes hunting, practices shooting, fishes, swims, plays hockey, does arm wrestling, and even participates in Formula 1 races and drives a car.
And that’s not all. He travels to the Olga Bay to take skin samples from whales with scientists. He goes to Finland to salvage a sunken ship. He places a tracker on a tiger. He participates in scientific research on polar bears, flies in a glider to study a crane species at risk of extinction, and, of course, he sings very well while doing all these things.
Really?
Can a person truly do so many things? Of course, unless they’re a film character like 007 James Bond. But wait, maybe there isn’t that much difference.
