Firmware update steps:
1. Disable Write Protection
2. Enable developer mode:
- Press Esc + Refresh + Power;
- Press Ctrl + D, Press Enter to enable
- Press Ctrl + D to boot Chrome OS.
3. Launch Chrome browser and press Ctrl + Alt + T to launch Crosh.
4. Type the shell command and press Enter.
5. Paste the following in one line into Crosh and press Enter:
cd; curl -LO mrchromebox.tech/firmware-util.sh && sudo bash firmware-util.sh
6. Select “Full UEFI Firmware” - option #2.

sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install gnome-software gnome-packagekit
If the application does not receive the list of applications -
restart the chromebook and do
sudo apt update
