Hello everyone and welcome to my YouTube channel and in this video today we will see what to do when app store is missing from your iPhone or iPad
In case if the app store is missing from the home screen of your iPhone or iPad then it may be because of the two reasons. The first reason is because may be the app store icon is buried inside the folders. So, what you do is pull the screen and search for app store.
Now you can see there is app store icon here and it is inside the folder called "health".So, what I will do is I will go back to the Health folder and I can see the App store here. So, if I have to move this icon to the home screen, I will tap and hold this icon until it wiggles like this one. Then I can drag and then drop on the home screen and then select "'done".
Now the next reason may be is because you have disabled either the installation, deletion or purchase of application in your iPhone. So, in that case what you do is, go to "Settings". Go to this "screen time". Select "Content & Privacy Restrictions". Enter the passcode if you have used and then go to "iTunes & App store purchases". If you see here I have disabled Installing Apps. So, I will select it and then select "Allow".
Now if I go back to the home screen, now I will be able to see "App store".
