So in this video I
So in this video I have finally got to the point where I change the transmission fluid on my Mini Countryman which is a 1.6 Diesel auto.
I bought a kit for this change which is Febi Bilstein 101164, I also got some transmission fluid Coma MVATF Fully synthetic. I have a supplier who bring parts form me, and that's what his computer recommended. BMW Part for the fluid is JWS3309. Perhaps easier to get your oil directly from BMW.
I will also look into making another video on how to check the transmission fluid quantities. Not only to make sure I have the correct amount in but also to learn how its done the BMW way.
I hope the video helps if anyone is going to tackle this job, and if you have any questions that I can answer then I will..
You will need a pump or some kind of method to get the fluid into the filler hole.
