House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn has different characteristics between Japan and overseas version.
Japan version has Normal and Master mode. The former one is for beginners, and the latter one is for experts. On the other hand, overseas version has only one Story mode(and stage selects), and the difficulty is similar to Japan Master mode, or a little easier than Master.
