The full Drive & Sound
The full Drive & Sound of the all new 2014/2015 Mercedes C-Class (W 205 C-Klasse) as the entry level C180 powered by a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder Turbo delivering 156 hp and 250 Nm of torque. This particular car was equipped with the optional 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission which I found quite ok, although that the wide ratio of the transmission probably better suits the torquey diesels (C220 BlueTec) in the lineup. Still, shifts are mostly quick and smooth but not being on the same level of the 8-speed ZF that I drove in the BMW 316i (F31) earlier this year. But enough about engine and transmission, what really blows aways competitors are suspension (Agility Control) and steering. The car feels very light, yet luxury sedan like, it feels sporty and nimble, yet very comfortable on country roads and Autobahn. In my eyes the best ride in class! Also the design inside and outside is great. Take this with AMG Line (like on the T-Modell I filmed a few days ago) and you have an awesome car. But now its your turn.
