County Legends - Chris Beaumont

Chris Beaumont joined County in the summer of 1989 from Danny Bergara's previous club, Rochdale. Over the next seven years he would go on to prove to be a very important part of the side that rose from the foot of Division Four to promotion contenders in Division Two. A scorer of great goals, Beaumont netted 49 times for The Hatters and played in FOUR Wembley finals for the club. He also holds the unique record of playing in every playoff match County participated in during Danny's time at EP and was the club's leading goalscorer in the Promotion campaign of 1990-91. 325 appearances, 49 goals, 1 promotion, 2 FL Trophy finals and 4 playoff campaigns.
