The SOMMERKAMP TS-288A with a 24-CH CB is a remarkable vintage (hybrid) CB/HAM-Radio produced by YAESU. It covers the 80- to 10-meter bands and includes an authentic CB-local oscillator-board along with a channel selector switch for 24 CB-channels. This model also features an 11-meter band segment (27.0-27.5 MHz) that can be modified up to 25- to 28 MHz (external Xtal). It offers all-mode operation (excluding FM) and a 100-watt output on SSB, with a valve-driven power amplifier. It must have been a dream rig in the early '70s.
