Chihuahua Mix is Paralyzed in the Back Legs || IVDD Recovery

Dr. DiVita and Dr. Wong meet Chiki, a 7-year-old Chihuahua that was normal one day and lost the ability to walk the next day. Possible causes for this included a slipped disk(IVDD), meningitis, tumor, and others. An MRI was recommended to find the cause of this sudden inability to walk which revealed a slipped disk in her mid-back spinal cord.

Surgery was performed under the same anesthetic period and Chiki made a fantastic recovery!
