I had a chance to buy a fish that is a member of the Dover Sole family called a Sand Sole.  Apparently, they taste as good as a Dover Sole but are much cheaper.  Most of the fish or shellfish we eat I catch or forage for myself but occasionally like to buy fish I cannot catch myself.  The Sand Sole definitely is a great tasting inexpensive fish at about a fourth of the price of Dover Sole.  Not a catch and cook video but a video about a fish I had never caught or heard of before.  There are plenty of Dover Sole recipes but decide to try a great recipe I use for other flat fish.  Special guest appearance at the end of the video from “she who must be obeyed” giving her opinion on the Sand Sole.  Bon Appétit!
