The route Madrid - Barcelona
The route Madrid - Barcelona is by far the most popular railway route in Spain and the train is by far the best option on this route. Apart from the regular high-speed trains of the state owned railway company RENFE, the AVE trains (that I'll be featuring in this video), you will find the OuiGo high-speed trains, Iryo the low-budget train of RENFE, that's called AVLO (my ticket price on the conventional train was lower than on the budget trains by the way).
Because there are so many companies on this route, you can find the best fares for trains on www.trainline.com, if you will use separate tickets. For Eurail, Interrail and Spainpass users, this is something different. I'll probably make another video where I'll explain more about fares.
