With announcements of new hospital restrictions and ongoing Covid-19 cases, more than ever before healthcare professionals & students are in the privileged position to make Christmas Day special for our patients.
Whilst I don’t celebrate Christmas as a religious festival, I appreciate that this is a very important time for both my work colleagues and patients. Even more so, with tightened restrictions and ongoing Covid-19 cases.
In this video, I share with you tips to make working on Christmas Day still enjoyable and festive for all, having previously worked on Christmas Day as a Registered Nurse.

I am a UK registered Nurse working in the NHS. I am a surgical nurse by background and was redeployed to Intensive Care Unit following the Covid-19 outbreak. At present, I work as a Junior Sister in Acute and Chronic pain services.
