Windshear & AutoThrottles

Joe Munoz describes how having autot hrottles can be very helpful but also NOT helpful during a windshear event! This is because auto throttles maintain an INDICATED airspeed. When you encounter a shear, the increase in indicated airspeed may cause the thrust to reduce at a moment when you actually need TOGA power!
