Myanmar in crisis: Intensifying clashes in northern Shan spark concerns in China

China's foreign ministry has called on its citizens to stay clear of conflict areas in Myanmar and to avoid travel in the region. Fighting has intensified in Myanmar's border regions with China. Myanmar's army-backed president has warned the country is at risk of breaking apart, if the military is unable to curb clashes with insurgents.
