What is Coal Gasification & Liquefaction

Recently, the Union Minister of Coal and Mines addressed a webinar on Coal Gasification and Liquefaction. According to the minister, India aims for 100 million tonnes coal gasification by 2030. For this, investments worth over Rs. 4 lakh crores will be made.
