HONDA DIO DESIGN AND STYLE
The Honda Dio has been in the Indian market for a long time now. The Dio was first introduced back in 2012 and since then has received a number of updates. The latest update on the Honda Dio was in 2017. As part of the update, the Honda Dio comes with a number of cosmetic updates, along with a new paint scheme.
Cosmetic updates on the Honda Dio include two white position lamps at the front, along with a LED DRL strip on the front handlebar. The rear of the scooter now comes with a newly designed tail lamp, however, it misses out on the LED unit. Apart from this, the Honda Dio is now offered with a dual-tone paint scheme, which adds to its visual appearance.
The Honda Dio is available in a choice of two variants: Standard and Deluxe. The standard variant of the Honda Dio is offered in five colours, including Sports Red, Sports Yellow, Candy Jazz Blue, Vibrant Orange and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
The Deluxe variant of the Dio is further available in four colour options: Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black.
BS6 HONDA DIO COLOURS
The Honda Dio now comes with 7 new colour schemes. The Standard Variant of the scooter gets 4 colour options – Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Candy Jazz Blue, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange. The Deluxe variant of the scooter gets Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Matte Sangria Red Metallic.
SPECIFICATIONS
The Honda Dio gets a 110cc single-cylinder engine. It now gets fuel injection system and (eSP) Enhanced Smart Power. Because of the fuel injection, it will now give a quick cold start and the throttle response will also be precise. The engine power remains at 7.8 Bhp and the torque is at 8.7 Nm. The New Honda Dio comes with a 3 step adjustable suspension at the back.
There's also a new engine start-stop switch, as well as a unique integrated dual function switch which provides single switch access to underseat storage space as well as an external fuel filler lid. A pass-light switch has also been added to the high beam/low beam controller switch.
The 2020 Honda Dio now gets a telescopic front suspension which offers better manoeuvrability, as well as an increased wheelbase which offers better stability. At the rear is a three-step adjustable rear suspension, as well as a combi-brake system with equalizer.
