Abstract
Align impacted third molars with molar tubes and CuNiTi archwires
Miniscrews inserted on the ramus of the mandible as direct anchorage can be used to upright impacted mandibular third molar. However, maxillary second molars sometimes come in contact with ramus miniscrews when patients bite down. Therefore, molar tubes and CuNiTi archwires are excellent alternatives to upright impacted mandibular third molars. In order to bond molar tubes along the long axis of impacted third molars, gingivectomy with laser or surgical exposure incision is indicated. To avoid molar tubes being bitten down, bond the molar tubes more gingivally or bond bite turbos on healthy and stable teeth, such as canines. Moreover, a convertible first molar tube is needed for inserting the archwire into the second molar tube to align the third molar.

利用放置在下顎支的迷你骨釘做為錨定能有效率地將阻生下顎第三大臼齒扶正。但是有些病人的上顎第二大臼齒會咬到下顎支的迷你骨釘，因此需使用矯正器(molar tubes)和鎳鈦矯正線來扶正下顎第三大臼齒。為了要將矯正器對著第三大臼齒的長軸黏，需要使用雷射切除牙齦或是翻瓣露出足夠的牙冠。在黏著矯正器的時候，為避免病人咬到矯正器，儘可能往牙齦側黏，或者在健康完整的牙齒（例如犬齒）上放咬合墊（bite turbo）墊開咬合。除此之外，使用開蓋式第一大臼齒的矯正器以方便矯正線穿入第二大臼齒矯正器，排齊第三大臼齒。
