Ginger Chutney is a combination
Ginger Chutney is a combination of spicy, sweet and sour goodness. It's an authentic and traditional recipe with very less ingredients and can be prepared in 10 minutes. It's perfect for Idly and Dosa. It's a must Try and delicious recipe for any occasion.
Let's dive into cooking!!!
Ingredients:
Ginger - 1/2 cup
Green Chilli- 1/2 cup
Tomatoes - 1 cup
Jaggery Powder - 1/2 cup
Tamarind Paste - 1/2 cup
Coconut Oil - 2 Tsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Preparation:
First start with cleaning the ginger, green chilli and tomatoes. Chop them into Small pieces and keep aside. Now in a sauce pan add coconut oil and let it heat. Then add chopped ginger and fry for 2 minutes, then add green chilli and saute a bit. Now add tomato pieces and let it cook for 5 Minutes, then keep aside and let it cool down. Now in a mixer add this mixture along with Tamarind paste, jaggery and salt. Blend to a smooth textured chutney. Garnish with coriander leaves. Yummy quick and easy ginger chutney is ready to be eaten with idly or Dosa. It's a must try and it can be used as a ginger sauce. It goes well with rice or can be added to any curry to enhance the flavor.
We can make it easier and faster with very less ingredients at anytime!!! Kids will love it!
