What You Need To Know Before The Matrix Resurrections Comes Out

Released way back in the heady pre-Y2K days, 1999's sci-fi action stunner "The Matrix" was a trippy global smash that spawned a few sequels, video games, comics, animated movies, and, well, a ton of other stuff now embedded in the pop culture vernacular. News of a fourth "Matrix" movie broke in Variety in August 2019, and after some delays, we now know that "The Matrix Resurrections" hits theaters and HBO Max on December 22, 2021. Not much is known about the plot or the production, but there are a few tantalizing details out there. Watch this before "Matrix 4" comes out.
