Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) in AWS VPC

The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is a routing protocol used on the internet. If you're connecting an Amazon VPC to your on-premises network using AWS Direct Connect, you'll need to configure BGP so you can receive and advertise the necessary routes. You also need to configure BGP for AWS Transit Gateways, DX Gateways, and other networking services.
