New Year's in Downtown Dubai
New Year's in Downtown Dubai is our biggest event of the year with residents and tourists travelling to 'The Centre of Now', to watch the world's tallest building light up in a flurry of colour. Within this short time-lapse you'll notice a huge 210 metre long seamless projection screen at the base of Burj Khalifa along with 15 water platforms with semi-transparent screens on Burj Lake being assembled for the 2013 event.
With 74 projectors -- the same type that was used for the London Olympics, the quality and brightness of the media was one of a kind and entertained the crowds not only on the evening, but also during the month of January.
