Hi Everyone. This is one of my favourite bottle art project. If you love vintage look, please do try this bottle art on your own. This is an bottle diy.
The video easy step by step process on How to make this vintage bottle. This shabby bottle will definitely be an awesome decorative piece in your garden.
I have used a beer bottle. However, you can do a wine bottle decoration as well. This is an amazing bottle decoration idea.
I love the old shabby looks on my projects.
In this bottle art, most of the embellishments are handmade. I love to upcycle the bottles using different techniques.
I also have made some texture using tissue paper there. The tissue paper pattern gave an amazing makeover to the bottle.
This is one of my best crafts that I have made and the tutorial video has got a lot of positive comments from my friends.
I have used the ice-cream sticks in this altered bottle. I got the sticks from a near by craft supply store. If you dont have the sticks, you can make some stick like structure from cardboard.
You can use this decorated bottle as a vase as well.I love this recycle project.
The leaves are made out of foam sheet. Usually I use foam sheets to make foam flower. However, in this "How to" project, I have use the foam sheets to make the leaves.
If you dont have foamsheet, you can use clay as well as long as it gives the perfect texture.
You can gift this bottle to someone. This is am amazing gifting idea.
For the grapes, I have used air dry clay. You can use any clay that you may have.
I have used homemade gesso in this project. I had explained how to make gesso at home in one of my previous video. You can go through that video and make gesso yourself.
To give a real look to the leaves, I have used the hot glue to make the patterns on the leaves. You can use clay for the same purpose as well.
Then on top of the layers, I have used acrylic colours. Here I have used white acrylic, green acrylic, a . mixture of violet and red acrylic to get a wine colour and the I have used some rust metallic colour as well.
The entire process gave me a nice vintage altered bottle which I loved.
You can use this idea to do your own bottle decoration.
