It is based on scriptures. It will encourage you, strengthen your faith, increase your peace, and will make you feel closer to God.
The bible says, Daniel and David PRAYED 3 times a day: morning, noon and evening. In addition, David PRAISED God seven times a day. We, believers in Jesus Christ, are instructed to pray all the time. Most likely, a combination of morning, midday, and evening prayers, supplemented by few phrases of PRAISE here and there all day long, which might be equivalent to David’s 7 times a day praising God. After all, we are well equipped better than Daniel and David for this. We have the Holy Spirit within us, to enable and empower.
I believe, the main important ingredient of prayer is sincere heartfelt words that come out of our inner most being. That is the only thing that reaches God. Not the number of prayers per day, or the length of prayer per session, or the mechanics of it. But, a groaning that comes from heart. We have to use our heart to speak, love and serve God. We are instructed to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul.
