I am lonely and it's
I am lonely and it's been hard to wait on God. I've been promised a wonderful husband one day - the wait isn't easy though. Loneliness is perhaps the hardest part when you're waiting for your kingdom spouse.
The loneliness has left me heartbroken. However, I still have hope. If God makes a promise, then He will keep it. Time and time again, he's confirmed His promises to me.
Rarely, though, people talk about how hard the waiting period is. We tend to gloss over how we feel in the "valley" for the sake of keeping our eyes fixed on the mountaintop. We can keep our eyes fixed on Jesus during both seasons. However, I really want more Christians to be vulnerable about their pain in the hard seasons. We can't fully be there for others if we aren't vulnerable.

Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete." John 16:22-24
If you need love, ask Him for love. If you just need help, call out to Him for help. As long as you keep seeking Him, He will help you. Don't give up, you're never alone.
