ComVerse is a discussion forum
ComVerse is a discussion forum organized by the B. Com Department of St. Joseph's College of Commerce (Autonomous). The name is a portmanteau of Commerce and Converse, literally meaning conversations about various happenings in the field of commerce.
The ComVerse group seeks to present complicated and intricate matters through easily understandable mediums by holding discussions about various topics that peak the interest of the general population.
ComVerse-1: Goods and Services Tax
To understand the implications of the biggest change in taxation in the recent times,its influence on the common man and what it means for the country as a whole,a first of its kind discussion is being held amongst the students of BCom,to unravel the lofty subject of GST, and understand the changes in indirect tax. It's the first of a series of discussions conducted under ComVerse- a discussion platform for BCom students, an initiative by the Dept.of BCom.
