BR Britannia class 70000 " Britannia " was at the Helm of Pathfinders railtour the Cumbrian Fells Express from Crewe to Appleby and back to Crewe again via the West coast mainline over Shap and the Settle and Carlisle line .A very rare event sees two steam tours within mins of each other over Shap as 70000 is seen crawling up over Shap towards the summit at Salterwath but the slow running Galatea in front of her slowed her down to a crawl . We see 70000 again on the outskirts of Langwathby before the stop at Appleby . The final shot sees the Brit flying towards Aisgill at Birkett common .Not the best pan I have ever done due to the slow moving loco and a strong gusty wind .
