At this Virtual Town Hall Meeting, Andreas Schleicher, director for education and skills, special advisor on education policy to the secretary-general at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and initiator of the highly-acclaimed Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), launches Education at a Glance 2020: OECD Indicators, a rich, comparable and up-to-date array of indicators on the state of education internationally.
Victor Negrescu, member of the European Parliament (Romania, S&D); vice-president, of the culture and education committee in the European Parliament and rapporteur of the Shaping Digital Education in Europe initiative, and Silvia Merisio, policy officer for digital economy and skills at DG Connect of the European Commission, joined the discussion.
