STEAMED CUSTARD CAKE ✔️Caramel 1/3 cup sugar [75 grams] ✔️Custard Flan 5 whole eggs 1 can condensed milk [300 ml] 1 can evaporated milk [370 ml] 1/2 tsp lemon juice or vanilla extract (optional) ✔️Cake Batter 4 egg yolks 1/2 cup water (or milk) [120 ml] 1/4 cup veg.oil [60 ml] 1/2 cup sugar [100 grams] 1 & 1/2 cup cake flour [173 grams] 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt ✔️Meringue 4 egg whites 1/4 tsp cream of tartar (or vinegar) 1/4 cup sugar [50 grams] ❇️Substitute for Cake flour 1 & 1/8 cup all purpose flour + 3 tbsp cornstarch Cooking time: 50-60mins on medium heat. To make sure the cake is well cooked, do the toothpick test, insert a toothpick on the cake & when it comes out clean means the cake is good to take off from the heat.
