Review the MODIFIED ASHWORTH SCALE and original Ashworth Scale with me.
The Ashworth Scale is one of the most common scales used to assess spasticity. In this video we compare both the modified and the original ashworth scale. This is an important scale for adult and pediatric practice occupational therapists and physical therapists who work with individuals with neurological injuries or conditions that are often accompanied with spasticity.
