This is very important when you're making paperbacks on KDP. You will get a lot of rejection on KDP if you don't have the right dimensions on the cover. A lot people end up giving because they can't get passed the review part on kdp.

If you have a different trim size and page count it will always be different when it comes to the dimensions make sure you're paying attention. Make sure you download the template on Kindle Direct Publishing so you know the correct size.
Make sure you understand the bleed on the cover, it's a little extra on the sides.
