8.04 cts – World Class Dispersive Canary Yellow Sphene! Will fit in a 13 mm mount!

I can honestly say this is the most brilliant dispersive Sphene I ever had, whether for sale or in my personal collection. The stone is on fire with an explosion of fireworks, even under my fluorescent office lamp which is not very conducive to dispersion.

Don’t see many Sphene’s in a trillion cut which when done right is one of the most brilliant cuts & this stone is brilliant. Medium light tone strong yellow color, with no brown means this stone will never be dark. Totally eye clean face up. Just a wow stone that will fit in a 12 mm x 12 mm mount.

In the turntable video you will see a long inclusion under the pavilion that run to the girdle & there is a tiny crater on the girdle where the inclusion ran to. This is not a crack but a tube inclusion. It can be seen with the naked eye if you look under bright light at the pavilion, it cannot be seen through the table or crown. I feel that this stone is suitable to be set without breaking by a good bench jeweler, any Sphene for that matter. I feel if the stone was to break, it would have during cutting & the inclusion only reaches the surface at the girdle, otherwise buried in the stone safely.

If the stone does not sale, I will be more than happy to tuck it away in my collection. It is that nice.
