Caryn is an academic, an author and a registered dietitian, with over 25 years of consulting experience as a dietitian and is the managing director of her nutrition and lifestyle consultancy practice. As a clinician in the field of dietetics, Caryn clinical practice focuses on the application of whole-food nutrition and lifestyle management for chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, weight management, gut health disorders, and autoimmune conditions. Her specialty is the application of carbohydrate-restriction nutrition therapy (low carbohydrate, healthy fat,- LCHF – and ketogenic diets) for conditions characterised by insulin resistance and inflammation, as well as in the context of sports performance nutrition.
