This video will teach you how to install the OPT7 AURA LED Aluminum Underglow Lighting Kit. (http://www.opt-7.com/aura-led-aluminu...)
* IMPORTANT Update* - Updated design changes to the bracket allow you to mount the underbody without the need for the 3M tape so new models no longer include that in the kit.
Step One: Open the Aura Underglow Kit box to remove all of the pieces you will need to install onto the underbody of your vehicle.
Step Two: Grab your vehicle’s instruction manual to check exactly how to access the direct line fuse boxes underneath your vehicle.
Step three: Begin placing the first two 48 inch Underglow Bars under the side panel of your vehicle’s doors, attach the light bar using the zip ties found in the kit to install directly to the side skirts. You can also utilize the the screws for a more permanent installation.
Step four: Once the two sideskirt 48 inch Underglow Bars are installed along your sideskirts, begin installing the rear 36 inch Underglow Bar directly underneath the rear body frame and use the zip ties to tie directly to the panel brackets or bars.
Step five: Once the rear underglow bar is installed, you can Install the front bar. Either stick the Underglow bar directly under the front bumper paneling or mount it with the zip ties.
Step six: Use scissors to cut any of the excess zip tie line that you do not need.
Step seven: Now open your vehicle’s side door or underdash paneling to hook up the fuse box wires from the Underglow control box directly to the correct fuse box wires described in your vehicle’s manual. You may want to have a professional mechanic work with the electrical portion if you cannot safely do it yourself.
Step eight: After connecting the correct vehicle adapter wires to the control fuse box wires, you’ll want to mount the Underglow control box. We recommend mounting it above your vehicle’s foot pedals, near the side panel fuse box, or the center console.
Step nine: Grab your hand-held remote and flip the switch on, and you’re ready to rock and roll with the sound sync and color features to start the party.
