✅The Dark L vs. The Light L — how to pronounce them

Can you hear the difference between the dark L and the light L?? I actually like thinking of these sounds as a front L vs. a back L… if you think about it in terms of placement—like where the sound is made—that might make it easier for you. Also, hot tip 🔥you don’t always have to bring the tip of your tongue up for the dark L. For example, when I say MILK, I can say it correctly without lifting the tip of my tongue to touch behind my teeth.
