This video is part of my 'Tudors' Playlist designed for A Level History unit 1C The Tudors 1485-1603. This video looks at Henry VIII's foreign policy from 1509 to 1529. Henry seeks to be a warrior King, taking territory from France and playing a leading role as a European power. The ambitions however were not backed up with military or financial power and despites Wolsey's best efforts England remained a minor power and Henry's 'Great Matter' left England isolated.
