I have put together an easy method on how to revive your favorite jeans.By simply replacing the zipper. Follow the exact step-by-step method. This a detailed tutorial is beginner friendly. This method can be applied to men's , women's children's jeans.
TIPS
Do not touch the decorative stitch you will never get it right
Remove the zipper using a razor blade to remove the bar tacking.
Buy the same size as the old zipper never smaller
If you have to cut the zipper to size cut from the top
Use small stitching so that you do not do reverse stitching
When replacing the zip start by putting on waist band. This helps to sew it easily. Careful not hit the zipper use the wheel if needed
Insert the zipper on the decorative stitch side.
Then insert the over lay side with facing.
Finishing off with the bar stitching.
