Merry Christmas. This is a surprise for my Dad, but due to work schedule he’ll be getting this on Christmas Eve. Video is on scheduled release.

It started as a Ruger MkIV Tactical, which is a fine pistol in itself. Decided to clean it up some by removing the rails, installing a MaddMacs mount for a Trijicon SRO (competition version of the Trijicon RMR with wider window). The grips are Hogue G10. Of course, the barrel is threaded for his suppressor, my Silencerco Sparrow is shown for example. Left-handed safety was deleted and the unused threaded holes were plugged. I decided to remove the front sight since it’s vestigial with the rear sight RMR mount.

Cool project. I ended up picking up a 5.11 range bag and some extra magazines to really complete the package, and my brother has him set up with some subsonic .22LR to go along with it. I think he’ll have a really pleasant surprise this Christmas.
