In this video I go
In this video I go over how to repair old screw holes on a fiberglass boat. This Classic Boston Whaler Montauk came to me completely stripped down so I honestly had no idea in what condition the original screw holes were in. With that in mind, I go ahead and repair all of them (the ones facing downward).
A key element of the repair is coring out an area underneath the deck so that the epoxy resin can expand, in effect providing a solid platform for attaching items to the deck. One thing I do different foam others here is to use a bent nail rather than an Allen wrench to core out some foam. When the time comes to add rails, the leaning post z-legs, etc, I'll re-drill the holes in the epoxy filler.
