Best Tourism Village Competition 2024
Best Tourism Village Competition 2024 Edition, initiated by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the central focus remains on 'Honoring the Soul of India' while advancing its objectives to foster social and infrastructural development. Building upon the achievements and participation of the initial stage, this phase of the competition seeks to further deepen the sense of competitiveness and pride among India's villages. The second edition aims to identify villages with an unwavering commitment towards uplifting the rural economy and the preservation of cultural and natural heritage through tourism. Recognition of such villages will serve as an exemplary model for sharing best practices among other villages.
Best Rural Homestay Competition 2024
In order to promote the Rural homestays, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has recently launched the National Strategy for the Promotion of Rural Homestays with the main objective to promote Rural homestays as the alternate form of accommodation. To foster the promotion, growth and development of the Rural Homestays, the Ministry of Tourism through Central Nodal Agency for Rural Homestays will conduct Best Rural Homestay Competition. This competition is being launched in partnership with States, Industry and other tourism stakeholders. The competition will serve as a platform for rural homestays to showcase their unique offerings, allowing tourist to explore novel and captivating lodging options and experiences.
