The key is to attack without lock on and wobble around him to avoid his melee attacks.

You don't need Tanto this early but you should get it before Guardian Ape, so you have enough emblems to skip phase one with jump MD.

How to install this mod:

1) Download the mod engine from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/6
2) Place the files into your game directory (Where the .exe file is).
3) Create a folder called "mods".
4) Download the noob (normal) version of LMTSR mod from: https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods...
5) Place the files into the mods folder.
6) Start the game and you should see "Long may the shadows reflect" in title screen.
