I rarely use Mac OS on my HP computer, but I decided to upgrade the version I had before (10.12 Sierra) to the latest version right now, 10.14 Mojave. It can't replace a real Mac because drivers for some components are missing, but it works, and I could use it to edit and upload this video. I prefer Windows on this computer, but editing video with iMovie on Mac OS is easier for me.

[Guide] Booting the OS X installer on LAPTOPS with Clover: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/gu...

Download my kext files and config.plist for the Clover boot loader: https://mega.nz/#!rI1RiahK!jndiL5C-BE...

BEFORE trying my Clover files, check if there's a hackintosh guide for your specific computer (or similar). Look up your computer model with the word "hackintosh" on Google. If you use incompatible files, Mac OS will not boot up and automatically restart, or show a "prohibitory sign" error. (You can remove the incompatible files and try other ones).

To get brightness adjustment to work, you need to put the patched file called SSDT-PNLF.aml in the ACPI/patched folder (it's included in my set of files). This file most likely only works with HP laptops like mine (HP 15-r127nl with Intel Core i7-4510U and Intel HD Graphics 4400). You can try it, but you must delete that .aml file if it causes Mac OS to not boot up, and patch the SSDT yourself (The tonymacx86 thread will have the information).

Sorry if all of this is complicated. If you really want/need Mac OS, you should buy a real Mac (even one from a couple of years ago will be fine), or try Mac OS in a virtual machine (it will be very slow and limited, but less complicated and risky).
