Voice Over Processing (Walkthrough)

One of my channel subscribers produced a YouTuber and asked for my help to optimize the voice-over he’s working with. I asked him to send me the raw audio file (unprocessed) so I could process it for him with EQ, Compression, etc… He felt that the voice-over quality he was getting was “lacking clarity,” had an “unpleasant high.” He wanted a low/thickness added to the sound. He also described her voice volume trailing off at the end of her words. In this video, I walk through the DAW steps I suggest to achieve the Big, Bold, Professional sound he’s after.
