Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is the game that always starts fights at space flight simulator family gatherings. It’s grimier, arcadier, and that bit more story-driven. In a way, it’s the space sim equivalent Ice Road Truckers in space. As I explain in this Rebel Galaxy Outlaw review. This video is for Rebel Galaxy Outlaw PC, but regardless of what platform you’re waiting for, this Rebel Galaxy Outlaw impressions video will tell you what you need to know if you’re curious about giving it a go. Are you also one of those people who own a PC and a Nintendo Switch? Astoundingly, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw Switch is a thing. It’s not the biggest space flight simulator but Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is still pretty huge, Double Damage Games being able to fit all of that on a Switch is proper mental. After doing our Rebel Galaxy Outlaw test we see the appeal of a portable version.
The Rebel Galaxy Outlaw soundtrack is some of the best country music around and Astrid absolutely loves it. Even if you’re not a big fan of country music, with Rebel Galaxy Outlaw being truck drivers in space it feels tasteful, and it fits really nicely with the space western theme of the game. Other space flight sims like Elite Dangerous only let you listen to lore audiobooks, and even a classic space game like Freelancer doesn’t let you listen to anything on any radio. But Rebel Galaxy Outlaw has an in-game radio with over 20 hours of music and funny satirical adverts.
