"Godzilla vs. Kong" is a 2021 American monster film helmed by director Adam Wingard. Serving as a sequel to "Kong: Skull Island" (2017) and "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" (2019), it holds the distinction of being the fourth installment in Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse, the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise, the 12th film in the King Kong franchise, and the fourth Godzilla film to be entirely produced by an American film studio. The movie features an impressive ensemble cast including Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Lance Reddick, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir. Brown and Chandler reprise their roles from the previous Godzilla film.

In this thrilling installment, Kong finds himself at odds with Godzilla when humans relocate the mighty ape from Skull Island to the Hollow Earth, the ancestral home of the powerful creatures known as "Titans." This endeavor is undertaken in an attempt to retrieve a power source for a secret weapon designed to combat Godzilla's mysterious and destructive rampages.
