In our Dell EMC PowerEdge C6525 review, we show the features and performance of this 2U 4-node (2U4N) server with one kilo-thread of AMD EPYC 7002 "Rome" CPUs. We go into the details of the design and management of the new systems. With this server, one can put up to 512 cores and 1024 threads into a 2U chassis. Dell EMC partners with CoolIT Systems to add liquid cooling so it can even support the AMD EPYC 7H12 HPC focused chips.

Our test system came with 32-core parts which are more designed for the hyper-converged and virtualization markets. Still, this offers more core and features such as PCIe Gen4 that Intel does not currently match.
