Yes, Yunus Parvez was indeed a prolific Indian actor who made significant contributions to the Hindi film industry. Born on October 8, 1931, in Mahend, Uttar Pradesh, India, he gained recognition for his versatile performances in supporting roles across a wide range of films.

Some of his notable films include "Garm Hava" (1974), "Deewaar" (1975), "Trishul" (1978), "Gol Maal" (1979), and "Mr. India" (1987). His last film role was in the popular film "Bunty Aur Babli" (2005), directed by Shaad Ali.

Apart from his successful acting career, Yunus Parvez also entered the political arena by contesting in the 1998 Indian general election as a candidate of the Samajwadi Party. However, he did not secure a significant number of votes.

Yunus Parvez's son, Arshad Khan, followed a different path in the film industry, working as a director. Arshad Khan is married to the daughter of film actor Vikas Anand.

Unfortunately, Yunus Parvez passed away on February 11, 2007, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, at the age of 75. The cause of his death was reported to be acute diabetes. His legacy lives on through his extensive filmography and memorable performances.
